ARE YOU READY FOR A NIGHT IN THE WILD?
As a youth led not-for-profit organization, HOPE Uganda has so far raised over $70,000 dollars and aided St. Teresa Girls’ College to grow from being able to educate 41 girls to a current enrolment of 430 students. In 2010 and 2011 St. Teresa Girl’s College achieved outstanding results and is currently placed within the top 10% of Ugandan Schools in academic performance.
In order to continue to provide quality education in a safe environment, HOPE Uganda is working with the John Curtin Leadership Academy to build a permanent dining hall as the current building has been eaten by termites, and on the 22nd of July, was completely destroyed by a storm that hit the town of Kihihi. To raise money towards the cost of building the new hall, we will be holding ‘A Night in the Wild’ at the Perth Zoo!
